Merry Christmas!
Thursday, December 2nd, 2010Is it fall?
Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010Well, I’m not sure yet what fall should look like in San Diego, but it is a lovely cool day! Makes me want to light a candle and snuggle down with a cup of tea and a good book. Preferable on my Kindle! My favorite candle for this is a pillar, particularly the Hummingbird Pillar. What’s your favorite?
We’re back!!!
Tuesday, September 14th, 2010We are back in the United States!!! Had a wonderful time visiting family and are now settling into our new home in Southern California. I’m setting up my candleshop, with more space than ever before! My wonderful husband is building a custom wax tank bigger than my old tank. I can’t wait to try it out!
I have been trying out many different essential oils to scent my beeswax candles. I’ll have some new things to share in the next few months!
We’re Moving!
Saturday, June 5th, 2010It’s time! We are in the process of moving, which we are very excited about! It will mean the candleshop will have some downtime for the next couple months, while we are traveling, visiting family, and finding new digs. Once we are settled we are going to have some special sales and fun stuff. Being overseas for the last three years has made for some challenges in shipping times and technology issues, but in just a few weeks we’ll be stateside again and will be able to offer some exciting sales and much faster shipping times. Thanks to everyone for continuing to shop with us during our overseas venture! I know it meant waiting much longer than we are used to these day!
Thank you everyone!
Andrea
On another note…
Sunday, April 11th, 2010This is not exactly off topic, but not quite candles either! But that’s ok, we like all things natural here… well, ok maybe not ALL things… but you get the idea. Lately I have been taking a Family Herbalist class online at the School of Natural Healing. It is SO much fun!!! I decided I had to share this with anyone who might be interested in more natural ways of helping their families and friends. I had no idea so much could be done with herbs and aromatherapy and other neat stuff.
Use this link to save $100 of the first course at the School of Natural Healing, the Family Herbalist. It is so worth it! Have fun! http://www.snh.cc/jamaffiliates/jrox.php?id=1183
And here’s my favorite place to get essential oils, herbs and so much more: Mountain Rose Herbs at http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/cgi-bin/Main.pl?AID=111316&BID=30
